Hearing and vision disorders are among the most prevalent service-connected disabilities, driven by the inherently hazardous noise and visual environments of military operations. Tinnitus and hearing loss top VA's list of most-claimed conditions every year, linked to weapons fire, aviation, armor, and artillery exposure across virtually every military occupation.
